How our Cucumber Daily Cleanser can help!

So of course at some point many, if not all of us have experienced some form of acne, right? I mean, the pandemic hasn’t helped it out either due to mask-wearing too. So, many people assume they know what acne is but, WHAT IS ACNE? Well, it’s simple… Acne is caused by your follicles (pores) becoming clogged with oil and dead skin cells that may lead to whiteheads, blackheads, cystic acne/lesions and pimples. Acne can develop on the face, chest, back, and even the bum! Other factors include bacteria and inflammation. So what else do we know about it? Well, we know that
Contains White Willow Bark, Vitamin B3, Cucumber extracts, Salicylic Acid, and much more!!!
it can be triggered or it can worsen if already developed. Since we tend to live our lives on a day to day routine, we forget and aren’t really mindful of the triggers. In fact, some of us are so reliant on the meds they prescribe for it which contain chemicals and never really give a permanent solution, right? You don’t want to mask it and continue to depend on these topicals and meds, I’m sure you want to better understand your skin and give it something natural that helps relieve and diminish it.
What you may want to try is Beauty with Jaylee’s Cucumber Daily Cleanser with White Willow Bark, Salicylic Acid, Vitamin B3, and more. I wanted to bring something that would be gentle but effective for acne prone skin. The White Willow (contains Salicylic Acid), helps to fight acne. It exfoliates the skin by sloughing off dead skin cells, exposing healthy and radiant skin. It dissolves pore-clogging impurities causing blockage leading to acne. It can also soothe and treat painful lesions. The Salicylic Acid also reduces sebum secretion (oil), which helps with reducing the acne formed by oil blockage.

Another ingredient in our cleanser is Vitamin B3 a.k.a. Niacinamide. This works to lock in the moisture in your skin and prevent water loss. It is also known to increase Keratin, therefore when it comes to aging skin, it improves the surface structure, helping smooth out the skin’s texture and reduce the look of wrinkles. It will also help fade away those age and dark spots. Trust me when I tell you, it’ll be the best $40 you spend and if you add that to some consistency and a good skincare regimen, you’ll see results and be very satisfied with them! If you’re unsure where to begin, schedule a consultation with us and we will be more than happy to make time for what works for you!
Here’s an FYI:
ACNE MYTHS:
- Chocolate and greasy foods have little to no effect on acne.
- Acne isn’t caused by dirty skin. In fact, using strong cleansers and scrubbing your skin hard will only inflame the skin and further irritate it, making acne worse.
- Cosmetics DO NOT make acne worse, especially when using noncomedogenic (oil-free, non-clogging formulas) products. Always make sure to remove your makeup regularly.
So overall, knowing your skin and what to use and not use would definitely benefit your skin and help with the acne. It’s not easy and I know it can be a bit confusing but that’s what we’re here for. Another thing is to know the triggers. Acne is triggered and sometimes worsened by certain factors. Some of those factors include; hormonal changes, medications (corticosteroids, testosterone, or lithium), carb-rich foods (bagels, chips, bread, etc.), and stress! Now, stress doesn’t cause acne but it can definitely worsen it. I hope this helps and if you have any questions or concerns, feel free to contact us.
